JOB TITLE: Analyst - Information Security 
REQUIREMENT: The candidate should have completed 6 months Diploma in Information Security and Ethical Hacking or Networking from Appin. 
JOB STATUS: Full time 
SALARY INFORMATION: Not bar for capable candidate (negotiable) 
LOCATION: Mumbai (Spectrum) 
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
 Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
 2-3 total years of experience in Networking / IT security/1+ years of experience in IDS & Firewall (e.g. Cisco IDS, Dragon IDS, ISS RealSecure)
 Good understanding of security concepts
 Possess certifications like Security+
 Knowledge of Enterprise Event and Incident Management Process and Tools
 Knowledge of port scanners and common TCP/IP protocols
 Possess good communication and documentation skills
DESIRED (GOOD TO HAVE) SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
 Operate with minimal supervision
 Operate as a proactive team player
 Work in a culturally diverse work environment
 Adapt and embrace change
 Have security certifications such as CCNA & any Security Certification like CCSA, CSPFA
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 Provide 1st level of threat response for the Ocwen infrastructure in the SOC.
 Perform network & host security event monitoring of alerts originating from Security Information.
 Management (SIM) tool & Intrusion Detection System (IDS).
 Tracing, reporting and escalating malicious activity such as policy violations, Malware etc., lifecycle from end-to end.
 Follow-up with global teams for incident identification, containment and triage.
 Clearly document investigative steps undertaken during threat analysis for audit and internal knowledge base.

Security Operations Analyst will work on the Security Event Management team, providing Level 1 operations support at the Security Operations Center. The analyst performs real-time monitoring, investigation, analysis, reporting and escalations of security events from multiple sources including events like:
 Network intrusion detection
 Host based intrusion detection
 Firewall logs (e.g. Checkpoint & Cisco PIX)
 Proxy Logs
 System logs (UNIX & Windows), mainframes, midrange, applications and databases.
Analysts will also assist the SOC Senior Analyst and Management team in the creation of process, procedures, technical documentation, and completion of project tasks as required. Analyst is expected to keep up to date with latest technologies and threats. The Security Operations Center is a 24x7x365 operation and as such, this person will be required to cover shift rotational days and holiday's.
